Hazmat Suit for Career?

In the 1995 movie Outbreak, Dustin Hoffman and other Hollywood worthies needed to visit an area where a deadly virus had been infecting people with a 100% mortality rate.
Right away you see the problem – you want us to go where? But technology once again saves the day, by making the hazmat (hazardous materials) suit available. This allowed the scientists and others to enter the area without being killed. Without this ability it is doubtful that the problem could have been solved.
Mercifully, the mortality rate in our economy isn’t 100% -- at least not yet – but it is certainly much higher recently than it has been in decades.
And you have to go there – that’s where your career is.
Overly dramatic? Maybe. But let’s face it: the economy, along with hundreds of thousands of jobs that have disappeared, didn’t just do itself in. It has succumbed to the deadly virus of a number of really, really bad ideas. These infectious elements are still very much alive; in fact, they are thriving.
Do you want to be exposed to this threat without some kind of protection?
Do you think you won’t be affected by the mistakes that have damaged so many lives and careers already?
